Clive Palmer, one of Australia's richest men, has commissioned a Chinese state-owned company to build a 21st Century version of the Titanic.Titanic was bad enough leading to the death of quite a lot of people. More recently, for the centenary of the original RMS Titanic 1.0, they drafted in a cruise to trace the hull-prints of that ill-fated ship. They had to turn back because of some chronic illness experienced by its passengers.
All of those lessons aren't enough for this guy apparently. I really don't see the fascination with a ship that sank. It was big, ahead of its time, etc. Still... It sank! It was a failure. Why this constant reminiscing of something that failed? Not to mention the stigma behind it all... Urgh!
