The problem with @HeathrowAirport Terminal 5

I've passed through London's Heathrow Airport twice now over the past two weeks on my way for a summer vacation in the south, and now back to the freezing hell called Europe. Some thing is really bugging me. It appears the people running the show at T5 can't accurately inform passengers which gate they need to be at.

I'm back in South Africa on a brief pre-Christmas vacation. As public transport is one of the few still backward things here, I rented a Nissan Tiida for the two weeks I'm here. (Yes, I also think the name of that white fridge with wheels is a bit odd)
