#N24h "Organised Chaos"

Wow! What a first day out at the Nürburgring 24 Hour Race. It was just the first Qualifying session yesterday, but I had a first hand look at how it all happens. It's pretty rough in the pits. Everything happens and everyone is squeezed in a very confined space. I called it "organised chaos".

Even though it's such a harsh, and frankly dangerous, environment. People all know their place and makes sure that they don't get into each others' way. Engineers and technicians are running around all over the place. The pit garages have six cars in each (nearly stacked on top of each other). Then when you have all the cars from the same garage coming in at the same time, the pit box is just a hive of activity!

I've posted a video below of the P4/5 Competizione right in front of me as the engine fired up for another run in Qualifying. Honestly, my legs were quite burnt by the exhaust, but videoing this car spitting flames was worth it

Btw, if I get another pass this weekend, my neck will start hurting. I keep collecting these things like it's going out of fashion. Good news, of course, is that I seem to have access to a host of things at the moment!
